TOE STYLES:
# 1 square toe: 1 3/4 inch wide square toe. This toe was found on some
boots during the War Between the States. However, it was most commonly
seen post Civil War. It was used on military and civilian boots.
# 2 square toe: 2 3/4 inch wide square toe. This was
used on boots of the Civil War Period. We use the #2 toe on most of
the Civil War Cavalry Boots and Civil War Period Stovepipe Boots.
Round Toe: The round toe is very similar to a modern
roper style toe. This toe is very popular in many styles of the post
Civil War era.
HEEL STYLES:
Walking Heel: The walking heel is a stack leather block heel approximately
1 3/4 inches tall. The Civil War Boots, do not have rubber heel caps
unless the customers so specifies. We have metal heel plates available
for the Civil War Boots. All post Civil War styles have rubber heel
caps.
Riding Heel: The riding heel is approximately 2 inches
tall and is undercut . We can alter this heel to meet the customers
needs.
COLORS:
We normally make most boots and brogans in black or
brown. Call for other available colors. The Shady Lady style can be
purchased in several colors: black, brown, navy blue, red, gray, green
and bone.
