This shoe style was worn from the mid to late 1800's. This shoe is very sturdy (not just a costume shoe). Some of our lady customers have used this shoe for 1860's costumes and also for a riding boot shoe. It can be made in the shorter version or a taller version. It can be made in a number of colors: black, brown, red, gray, navy blue, bone and even green. It's a good all around shoe for ladies who ride and shoot, shoot on the ground, costume up or dance hard.
